WHO WE ARE

The Global Inclusive Insurance Facility (GIIF), formerly the Global Index Insurance Facility, is a World Bank Group initiative that expands access to finance and climate risk protection for smallholder farmers, micro-entrepreneurs, and microfinance institutions. We work with governments, insurers, and development partners to build sustainable insurance markets that protect vulnerable communities from climate shocks and natural disasters.
